Today I saw a man on a motorcycle cruisin' down the carpool lane. No sidecar, no one clinging to his back. Just him and the road completely to himself. It's not like he couldn't have realized that it was the carpool lane--it's blocked completely off from the other lanes by barricades. It's more like it's own little road than a lane. And therefore, he could never be caught because there really is no way a cop car could fit on the side (as there is no shoulder) to pull him over. Quite ingenious in his defiance, really.

I learned today that grapefruits are called as such due to the fact that they grow in bunches like grapes. Thanks random trivia on the side of my microwave oatmeal packet!
